BIKE MONTH

SUNDAY, MAY 1 - TUESDAY, APRIL 31

Celebrate Bike Month with Allston-Brighton TMA! All month long, we'll be running events to get you geared up and ready to roll.

2022 BIKE CLINIC SERIES

Book a free 15-minute appointment with an expert mechanic from VeloFix to get a bike safety check, inspection, and advice on how to safely equip your ride! In addition to the initial inspection, you’ll also receive minor adjustments, adjustments to alignments as needed, oiled bike components, and checks for proper PSI inflation. Over the course of the Bike Clinic Series, we’ll also be dropping in with bike bells, leg band, and more goodies to help you level up your ride.

See our 2022 Bike Clinic Series Page for more information on how to sign up for your slot!

WEBINARS WITH MASSBIKE

Make your bike ride work for you and learn how to optimize your bike ride to make pedaling through your day-to-day that much easier. From the experts at MassBike, these webinars are geared to help commuters of all comfort levels make the most of their bike commute:

RIDING TO RETURN TO THE OFFICE |

Are you rethinking your commute as you head back to the office? Bicycling is a great option for getting there while keeping fit and reducing your carbon footprint. If you’re:

  • Interested in trying out bike commuting for the first time but aren’t sure where to start
  • Planning a new bike commute after moving to a new home or job
  • Out of practice with your bike-to-work routine after two years of telework

…you’re not alone!

Please join us for a 60-minute virtual lunch & learn workshop to cover the key tips you need to get yourself back on the bike path to work. Our knowledgeable instructors from MassBike will walk you through:

  • Considerations for mapping your bike route: what to watch out for, how to explore traffic by time of day, and resources for identifying lower-stress routes
  • Overlooked logistics for transitioning to the office after a ride
  • Benefits your employer may offer to support your bike commute

This event is free and open to all! RSVP here to secure your spot.

2022 CLEAN AIR PLEDGE

WEDNESDAY, february 16 - THURSDAY, december 1

Mobile combustion accounts for over 40% of statewide Massachusetts greenhouse gas emissions, and every daily trip decision impacts that number. If you're looking to add new sustainable transportation choices to your routine (or improve your experience with your current sustainable transportation mode of choice), you’re in luck in Metro-Boston – there is always more to learn in our region's dynamic transportation scene!

If you’re interested sharing what you know, trying out new ways to get around, and connecting with other folks reducing or limiting their single occupancy vehicle (SOV) usage, join our 2022 Green Cohort by signing onto this year’s Clean Air Pledge! By signing onto the 2022 Clean Air Pledge, you’ll be joining a group of fellow changemakers who are interested in asking questions, sharing stories, and swapping tips for navigating our region by foot, bike, rail, bus, carpool, scooter, and more. To thank you for your participation, we’ll reach out to you with special invitations for exclusive raffles, prize packages, and volunteer opportunities over the course of the year.

Sign the 2022 Clean Air Pledge and start logging your trips to track your journey on GoMassCommute today!
